Using The Outcomes Website
The WPHSOS provides a time-efficient, cost-effective manner in which districts
can collect and report their outcomes data. All survey directions
and instruments are provided on the website. www.posthighsurvey.org
Using the outcomes website will vary based on when you wish to conduct your outcomes interviews in relation to when the students you want to interview have exited high school. Depending on the type of information your district wants to gather, district students can be interviewed one to five years after they have exited high school, and can also be re-interviewed at a later date.
Six years of data will be maintained on the website to provide maximum flexibility of use. For example, a district could interview exiters in March 2008, and interview another group of exiters in March 2011 to determine if a planned intervention was successful. Or, the March 2008 former students could be re-interviewed in March 2010 to assess how they are doing three years after exiting high school.
