Who will be your district contact responsible for the WPHSOS process? |
|
The person selected to be the district contact
person should be the person who is responsible
for receiving and keeping the district's user
name and password, ensuring others using the
outcomes website keep information confidential,
and is the main contact person between the district
and the website managers. Please review the
Usage Agreement
and indicate who the district contact person
will be. |

How will the district know who will the interviewed? |
|
When you select Enter Student Contact Information, you will see a list of students. These are the students your district reported as an "exiter" on the Federal Data Report on the third Friday in September.
If this is your required Indicator
14 year, you need to review this list and
attempt to get contact information for all students
who were present at the beginning of the reporting
period and did not return to your high school
at the beginning of the next reporting period.
This means your district reported this student as exiting your high school through:
- a regular diploma
- certificate of attendance (including an HSED)
- by reaching the maximum age of eligibility for services (21 years of age)
- or by dropping-out (age 14 and older)
If your district has elected to use this survey process, you may
review this list and determine which students
will be contacted for an interview. |

Who will do the interviewing? |
|
If this is your required Indicator 14 year, St.
Norbert College Survey Center will contact
your district's former students and will enter
the surveys directly on your district's secured
portion of the website.
If your district has elected to use this survey
process, you may have someone from your district
call your former students or you may choose
to contract with St.
Norbert to call them. Please Contact
Us if you would like to contract with St.
Norbert to call your former students.
If you plan to contact your former students, you will need to have each interviewer:
- Understand the confidentiality related to this survey and the information they will know
- Become very familiar with the survey questions and skip patterns
- Have the ability to communicate well with a variety of respondents; it is very important that each interviewers understand the questions so they can help the respondents understand them and respond appropriately
- Watch the Interviewer
Training Video for insights and techniques
on how best to interview

Will the district record interview responses directly onto the website or will we record the responses on paper and transfer them to the website? |
|
If you are calling your former students, you can enter the interview responses directly onto the website (preferred method), or you can print a paper copy of the Scripted Interview. Record the respondent's answers on the paper form, and then you must enter all of the respondents' answers into the website at a later time.
Please note: The website interview questions have "skip" patterns built in (e.g. If the student answered "yes" to a question, you automatically go to the next appropriate question). If you are using a paper copy to record responses, you will need to follow the skip patterns very carefully. Access to feature is limited to the login rights of your account.
